The TT struck again too because… Well, that’s just what it does. The TT is always consistent in the fact that it’s exciting to drive. Not in the sense, though, that the other cars I’ve owned were exciting. The TT keeps the drive exciting by taking you along on its quest to self-destruct. I mean, what makes for a more exciting drive than the shifter suddenly breaking off in your hand on one of the busiest roads in Atlanta?! Or randomly braking one wheel while you’re motoring down the road? There’s never a dull moment! If nothing else, the car has remained consistent over the last 7, soul suffocating, years. Well done, TT!!
In an attempt to be positive about the car breaking down I will say this: it might have prevented a potentially worse event from happening. There’s a good chance I wouldn’t have been home two days later on Sunday afternoon when two people broke into my house if it hadn’t broken down. I can only imagine the things they would have walked out of here with if I hadn’t been here to stop them. So, MAYBE the TT saved me a little grief… Or maybe I would have been home anyway. 🙂
Coincidentally, (as Sia songs seem to go with me) I’ve recently been wearing out Sia’s song, Alive.
